Main composition: Oxytetracycline HCl

DESCRIPTION:

The main composition Oxytetracycline HCl acts as an antibacterial drug by inhibiting cell growth by inhibiting translation. It binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit and prevent tRNA from binding to the A site of ribosome. Moreover, TETRA-VIT SPRAY also includes auxiliary ingredients such as:

Vitamin A: stimulates epidermal turnover, increases the rate of re-epithelialization, and restores epithelial structure.
Zinc oxide: keeps wounds moist and clean while facilitating wound healing; significantly reduces the skin infection.
Magnesium stearate, oil: acts as a lubricant on skin’s surface, gives skin a soft and smooth appearance. It also slows the loss of water from the skin by forming a barrier on skin’s surface.
Methylene blue: highly effective in disinfecting, detoxifying, making dyes, treating some common skin infections.

INDICATIONS:

To prevent and treat local skin infections caused by bacteria sensitive to tetracycline after surgery, castration, docking to prevent infections in wounds and sutures. Foot-rot in sheep, wounds superficial teat and udder lesions, post-surgical in cattle, sheep, goats, horses, camels, dogs and cats after de-horning in cattle.

USAGES:

For topical use only.

Shake well before use.

Remove dead tissue, secretions and debris from infection site. Hold pack upright approximately 15 – 20 cm from the surface and cover area completely once or twice daily and repeat for 3 – 5 days, or as required.

Target animals: cattle, sheep, goats, horses, camels, dogs and cats.

Withdrawal time: None.

Contra-indications: None.

STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store it in a cool place below 30⁰C and keep out of heat sources, flammable material and reach of children.
